The Golden Wheel, (17 rooms) description: The Golden Wheel hotel is situated on Nerudova street, named after the famous Czech writer who lived in this street. The Hotel is just a few steps from Prague Castle, on the cobbled road leading from Old Town Square across Charles Bridge to Prague Castle. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1541. Only the floors and the well still date from the 14th century. The painter Dittmann rebuilt the house in the 17th cenury. In 2003 it was completely reconstructed and transformed into this charming boutique hotel.
This charming boutique hotel featuring a well from the 14th century is located directly below Prague Castle, close to Charles Bridge and just a 10-minute walk from the centre.
The hotel is very quietly located, on a cobbled street leading to the castle. The interior uniquely blends classic modern design with this historic building, providing for an inviting atmosphere of relaxed elegance. Start your day with a splendid buffet breakfast including tasty Czech bread and Prague ham. Enjoy superb views of the castle and the city centre and unwind in the private garden.
The next tram station is just 300 metres down the hill, the next metro station is 600 metres and the next bus stop is 1 km away.

The hotel is quietly located, close to Petrin, the biggest park in the centre of Prague.
All cultural, historic and tourist landmarks are within walking distance. The Prague Castle is just a 5-minute walk up the hill. The centre is a 10-minute walk down hill, just across Charles Bridge or you can take a tram for 10 minutes to get to the Old Town Square and to the National Theatre and Wenceslas Square.
