Hotel & Residence Standard, (20 rooms) description: Both metro and tram stations are located nearby and the historical monuments are easily reachable. Directly in front of the hotel, on the banks of the Vltava River, there is a small harbour for excursion steamboats, a promenade and a bicycle route. On the opposite side of the Vltava river you will find a sandy beach and you can even go fishing to the river.
The Hotel & Residence Standard offers luxury apartments, well known for their impressive views of Prague Castle and of the Vltava River, and comfortable, cosy guest rooms.
The historic centre and all sights are easily accessible on foot or by public transport from the hotel's riverside location. The Hotel & Residence Standard is housed in an Art-Nouveau building from 1913 between the National Theatre and the Vysehrad castle and is listed as a national monument of culture. It has 5 floors, all accessible via a lift.
Breakfast is served in buffet style in the air-conditioned restaurant and a lobby bar on the ground floor offers a large variety of drinks.
A secured car park or parking in an independent garage for an extra fee is available. Wireless internet access is available free of charge. The reception can arrange a number of services including sightseeing tours of Prague, guided excursions to a number of cultural sites throughout the Czech Republic and reliable taxi services.
